Security Management Resources® has just opened an ambitious recruitment project on behalf of our client, a leader in the manufacturing sector. Candidates at multiple seniority levels are required to support the build out of a multi-faceted program. All positions require travel.
More positions will roll out in the coming months. Currently we are seeking safety, health, compliance, and supply chain integrity professionals to join this exciting new program.
Leadership Opportunities
Global Head of Safety
This senior role will report to the Vice President of Global Safety and Security. Your focus will be the creation of a global health and safety strategy designed to support a safe environment for a wide variety of enterprise operations. To be successful in this position you will have extensive health and safety leadership experience. Equally important, you will have industry-relevant qualifications and have a sound knowledge of health and safety compliance standards.
Regional Health and Safety Manager
This is a mid-level role especially well-suited for someone midway through their health and safety career. You will work closely with site safety professionals within your region toward the goal of minimizing hazards and risk. You will also be responsible for regional mentorship and training programs. Relevant qualifications include knowledge of government health and safety standards and the ability to work collaboratively across the organization.
Individual Contributor Roles
Transportation Safety Analysts – Multiple Positions
These hybrid roles will function as subject matter experts in transportation safety. You will ensure the company is compliant with all Federal regulations and interact on a regular basis with FMCSR, DOT and CSA representatives. You will take the lead for CMV accident investigations and work collaboratively with other departments to ensure correct determination and reporting. Sound knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, DOT guidelines, and OSHA compliance standards together with experience in a distribution/ fulfillment center will ensure your success in one of these roles.
Regional Safety Analysts – Multiple Positions
These hybrid roles support a network of supply chain centers. You will gather and analyze information relative to safety trends and metrics. You will meet regularly with members of the global safety team and other internal stakeholders to determine needed improvements. You will also support incident investigations by providing root cause analysis to ensure proper handling. Experience compiling and analyzing data and trend analyses together with solid knowledge of Federal, state, and local health and safety regulations will position you to be successful in one of these positions.
