You’ll also have the following education, experience, skills, and competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in security management, business, or related discipline; a master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Experience leading corporate and physical security programs in complex, multi-site organizations, including oversight of guard forces, access control and visitor management, investigations, workplace violence prevention, executive protection, and crisis management.
- Proven history of managing or partnering on industrial security activities, i.e., personnel clearances, facility clearances, classified storage, and handling in compliance with NISPOM and related U.S. Government policies.
- Demonstrated leadership excellence, with strong executive presence, communication, and influencing skills, enabling effective collaboration with C‑suite leaders, department heads, and external partners.
- High integrity, sound judgment, and strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to standardize processes, conduct risk assessments and audits, and cultivate a culture of security awareness and accountability across the enterprise.
What You Will Take Ownership of in This Role
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive corporate and site security programs and policies that safeguard personnel, property, and sensitive information in alignment with company standards and applicable U.S. Government requirements.
- Lead and mentor a geographically dispersed security organization, overseeing hiring, performance management, professional development, and succession planning for corporate security, physical security, and industrial security staff.
- Direct physical security programs for headquarters, corporate offices, project sites, and remote/OCONUS locations, including access control, visitor management, guard force operations, electronic security systems, executive protection, and event security.
- Collaborate closely with IT, the CIO, Facilities, HR, Legal, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to ensure that physical and administrative safeguards are integrated with technology, employee lifecycle processes, and broader risk management efforts.
- Serve as the primary security advisor and liaison to senior executives, government, and cognizant security agencies, law enforcement, clients, and industry associations. Provide prompt counsel on threats, incidents, and security risks to the business.
- Provide strategic oversight for industrial security and classified programs i.e., PERSEC, facility clearances, document control, and classified storage. Ensure compliance with NISPOM and related directives while balancing operational agility and business goals.
