Overview
Security Management Resources® has been engaged to identify our client’s new EMEA Regional Security Leader. In this role you will join a multinational team as a regional security specialist. You will drive the development and enhancement of physical security and risk management programs across the organization. You will collaborate with diverse teams and external partners including regional law enforcement agencies, to keep people, assets, and operations protected. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in multinational security leadership who communicates clearly, adapts easily, and brings a global perspective to every challenge. This is not a remote position. The role-holder will reside in one of five countries in Western Europe and will be expected to travel within the region on a consistent basis.
Responsibilities
- Oversee development and refinement of physical security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Coordinate business continuity strategies and manage regional crisis response programs.
- Leverage relationships with local law enforcement and public agencies during adverse events, minimizing impact on people, assets, customers, and reputation.
- Develop and maintain enterprise risk management programs in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Direct regional investigations and collaborate cross-functionally as needed for resolution.
Requirements, Experience, Skills, and Competencies
- University degree with ongoing professional development.
- Security leadership experience within a multinational corporation.
- Demonstrated strategic mindset with the flexibility to operate tactically when needed.
- Proven ability to communicate, influence, and collaborate effectively across a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, and process management capabilities with a results-driven approach.
- Global perspective with cross-cultural awareness; fluency in English required, additional language preferred.
