Overview:
Security Management Resources® has been exclusively retained to recruit a Head of Global Security for our client, a highly respected multinational organization. This exceptional role offers the opportunity to lead a global team of security professionals and oversee the development and execution of comprehensive enterprise security strategies and operations worldwide. The position is based in the northeastern United States and involves regular international travel. Responsibilities
- Direct the development and governance of enterprise-wide security policies, procedures, and programs consistent with regulatory standards and aligned with corporate strategy.
- Lead a global team responsible for physical security, investigations, threat assessment and mitigation, executive protection, travel risk management, and enterprise-wide awareness initiatives.
- Partner with senior executives and key stakeholders to establish and maintain organizational resilience standards across global operations.
- Provide oversight and strategic direction for crisis management, incident response, and business continuity programs.
- Champion employee training and engagement initiatives that foster a culture of vigilance and shared responsibility for security.
- Build and sustain global partnerships with government agencies, law enforcement, and private-sector security counterparts.
- Monitor geopolitical developments, emerging threats, and industry trends to inform enterprise risk posture and advance security strategy.

- Advanced academic credentials in a relevant discipline, paired with a strong commitment to continuous professional development for self, team, and organization.
- Extensive executive leadership experience overseeing corporate security functions in multinational organizations, demonstrating progressive responsibility and impact.
- Outstanding leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across diverse functions and regions.
- Advanced critical thinking and strategic problem-solving abilities, adept at navigating complex and evolving risk environments.
- Experience partnering with senior decision-makers to shape organizational policy, drive compliance, and support enterprise objectives.

- Ability and willingness to travel globally, sometimes on short notice.
