Jerry Brennan
Co-Founder and Chief Executive
Jerry Brennan brings a wealth of executive security leadership to Security Management Resources®. His global career in private sector enterprise risk and resilience includes some of the world’s most respected organizations. Public sector work with international authorities included living internationally in Europe, the Middle East and United States. He is a veteran of the US Marine Corps.
Jerry has authored several books about security recruitment and writes regularly for industry-leading publications. Pro bono work includes partnering with the Foushee Group in their development of the security and compliance job descriptions essential to the profession.
Jerry chaired the international committee that developed and published the ANSI Chief Security Officer Organizational Standard for ASIS International. He currently serves on the board of the International Security Foundation (ISF) and the benchmarking committee of the OSAC Women in Security organization.
Joanne Pollock
Co-Founder and President
Joanne Pollock draws on experience with some of the world’s leading organizations in her role as President and Chief Operating Officer at Security Management Resources®. She began her career in human resources with a large government contractor, moving into technical roles in global corporations such as Boeing and Mobil Oil Corporation. Her background also includes extensive sales and marketing knowledge gained at multinationals including GTE and Software AG.
Since 1997 Joanne has also managed the Security Jobs Network®, the first job board devoted solely to security and risk management positions.
Joanne writes extensively on topics surrounding security recruitment with a special interest in diversity and inclusive hiring practices in the security risk and resilience professions.
She is a long-time member of ASIS International and SHRM.
