Overview:

SMR Group is kicking off the New Year with a great new security job! One of our returning clients is seeking candidates for the strategic role of Senior Security Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-known public venue in the US in a senior leadership role.

The Ideal Candidate – At a Glance:

• Possesses an academic degree and/or continuing education credentials.
• Has a background in public sector law enforcement.
• Is mid-career in a private-sector security management role at a high-end entertainment or education destination such as a hotel, resort, casino, stadium, museum, zoo, college, or university, etc.
• Is committed to providing high-touch customer service for employees, guests, and visitors.
• Can manage and influence any emergency situations with calm and poise.
• Has the ability to work and build connections with all levels of an organization and with diverse cultures.
• Is an excellent communicator in English with additional linguistic skills in Spanish or another language.

The Senior Security Manager will:

• Develop, manage, and coordinate the delivery of high touch, 24×7 physical security services at multiple locations, utilizing both in-house employees and third-party vendor staff.
• Monitor intelligence to identify any potential risks and game out potential response scenarios.
• Ensure physical security system compliance with any relevant processes and law.
• Liaise with external government and law enforcement agencies and peer networking groups.
• Have budgetary management responsibility for aspects of the physical security programs.
• Participate in development of training programs to foster a security-conscience environment.
• Collaborate with other departments on projects.
