SMR’s confidential client is an exceptionally discrete high asset family. They have recently restructured a multi-faceted protective operations program and are building a solid team of residential protection specialists. This role requires a dedicated individual to serve as the first line of protection for the family and their premises. It is a unique position that requires a concierge-level customer service approach while providing top-level monitoring.
This is a fantastic job for someone who has previous military, law enforcement, or emergency services experience with related qualifications, and skill sets. On offer is a strong compensation and benefits package.
Responsibilities
Human Capital
– Guard against threats and damage to individuals, property, and facilities.
– Provide executive services for family members and visitors.
– Support event security activities.
– Protect personal information, treating knowledge with confidentiality and discretion.
Physical Security
– Patrol as necessary based on established standards of operating procedures.
– Monitor a wide variety of security systems for multiple properties and respond to alarms.
– Identify and report hazards based on thorough safety inspections.
– Assist with family and executive transportation when required.
Resiliency and Incident Response
– Identify security risks and use sound judgement to accurately remediate threats.
– Assist with planning and execution of risk assessment projects.
– Ensure all components used in the protective operations programs are properly maintained.
– Collaborate with the executive protection team and local law enforcement agencies as needed.
Essential Skills
You Have:
- Solid experience in protective security operations through prior military, law enforcement, or security officer roles.
- Advanced soft skills and can relate to multiple age groups.
- Integrity and are thorough in preparing for any situation that may occur.
- The ability to successfully clear a formal background investigation, personal history screening, and physical fitness assessment.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including on an overnight shift basis.
- Expert knowledge of the Cleveland metropolitan area.

- Currently qualified as a paramedic or EMT with advanced initial response skills.
