Overview
Two of our clients have retained Security Management Resources® to identify candidates for new executive protection roles within their organizations. Each role will be chartered with the protection of key executives and their families. These are ideal roles for hands-on security professionals who have specialized experience in close protection services. Prior law enforcement, military, government agency, or emergency services professionals are encouraged to apply for these exceptionally well-compensated roles.
Lead Executive Protection Specialist
Southwest USA
This role will be responsible for comprehensive security for top executives in the firm. While this is a very hands-on role requiring variable hours at diverse locations, the position will also assess risk and develop strategies to safeguard protectees. You will be involved in advance planning for both local and domestic travel and events, working to react swiftly to any incidents. Confidentiality is paramount as you will become a trusted advisor. The organization anticipates expanding this program to accommodate additional EP functions once this role is firmly established.
This is an exciting job opportunity for someone who has a background in corporate or private family executive protection, law enforcement, or military service. You will have exceptional people skills and the ability to interact with senior leadership as well as family members. Training and/or certification in relevant skills such as defensive driving, self-defense, and current CPR and First Aid certs are strongly preferred. This is an armed role and requires LEOSA firearms certification.
Protective Services Advisor
Mid-Atlantic, USA
This position reports to the Chief Security Officer. You will be responsible for various aspects of the protective mission for senior management for a family-owned business. You will be responsible for physical protection strategies, intelligence analysis, and hazard mitigation. You will travel domestically and internationally as part of a team to manage security operations at high-visibility special events. You will also develop, maintain, and leverage key law enforcement relationships.
A university degree in a related field is preferred. Previous experience in protective security operations within a corporate setting is required. Your background should also include public sector employment with government law enforcement agencies. The ability to work irregular hours as needed is a key success factor for this role, as is the ability to perform effectively in high-stress situations.
