The Opportunity
This position will be responsible for management of a North American cybersecurity program for our multinational client. You will report directly to the Global Head of Cybersecurity in Europe and receive input and additional direction from the regional management team. You will be viewed as the subject matter expert on regional cybersecurity strategies while working to integrate overarching corporate cybersecurity elements into local policies and processes. This is a hands-on role focused on risk and vulnerability assessment and management. You will also ensure compliance with all corporate standards and regional technical requirements. Lastly you will have your finger on the pulse of local cybersecurity threats and concerns and support any incident management for impactful local events.
The Person
This opportunity is a perfect fit for a cybersecurity professional who aspires to progress their career to a regional management level. Ideally you will have experience working and liaising with both local and international entities. Past experience within a product manufacturing environment is a definite asset. In addition to strong analytical and conceptual skills, you will also have technical expertise in core cybersecurity technologies and standards. Degree work in an IT/OT/Cybersecurity discipline would be ideal. Relevant certifications such as ISC2 CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 are desirable pluses. Experience working in a diverse, multinational environment will help to ensure your success in the role, and skills with languages other than English are valued but not required. Relocation within the United States to our client’s North American location is supported, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to travel throughout the region.
