The Opportunity
This role functions as the principal executive leading our client’s global corporate physical security and intelligence program. You will design and manage initiatives to reduce security risks at all levels of the enterprise. Collaborating with cross functional teams, you will ensure that security controls are embedded across all business processes. You will also strive to increase awareness of the role of security intelligence and its ability to identify potential vulnerabilities. Supply chain risk management will include monitoring of external threats to brand reputation through counterfeit and grey market fraud. You will also stay abreast of competitive and counter-intelligence information through your network of peers, government agencies and law enforcement contacts through the world. You will also be chartered with recruitment and retention of a talented and diverse security organization reflective of the corporate mission and values.
The Person
This position would be an ideal fit for someone who has built a solid security career through education and experience. You should have a history of significant personal achievement in the development and implementation of multi-faceted risk mitigation strategies. Ideally, your background will include work within the manufacturing sector. Leadership competencies and skills gained through working in a multi-national corporation, or a public-sector law enforcement/ intelligence organization, will also be valuable. A record of influencing across all levels of management together with strong analytical and decision-making skills will establish you as a leader in this dynamic organization. The ability to travel globally is required. This is a hybrid position whereby you must live within reasonable commuting distance of the corporate headquarters and have the ability to be on-site as necessary.
