Security Management Resources® has been retained by two separate organizations to identify candidates for multiple executive protection roles. These EP positions will provide protection support for the family offices of active, yet discreet, high asset families. Successful candidates will join multi-faceted protective operations programs designed to guard against threats and damage to individuals, property and facilities. These are fantastic jobs for security professionals who have prior military, law enforcement or emergency services experience. Strong compensation and benefits packages are offered for all positions.
Executive Protection Specialists
Southern California
These roles will be part of a small team environment chartered with providing discreet, professional protection for principals and others. You will collaborate across departments to achieve principals’ goals while safeguarding them. You’ll additionally foster trusted relationships with any additional family members, corporate entities and local law enforcement agencies.
Prior experience in a corporate or private family executive protection role is needed. Federal or state agency, military, or law enforcement background will be an asset. University degrees or continuing education within a relevant discipline are desirable, as is training in principles of protection such as defensive tactics, protective driving and firearms.
You should have excellent communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with a wide, culturally diverse range of individuals at all levels. The ability to collaborate with peers and outside agencies in potential crisis situations is also vital to the roles. Also critical is skill at relationships with principals, peers, internal and external groups and others.
Residential Protection Specialists
Midwest USA
Dedicated individuals with a focus on being the first line of protection for principals and families are ideal candidates for these new positions. You will provide executive-level services for both family members and visitors and support protection activities for events held onsite. Identifying security risks and remediating any threats are also responsibilities for these roles. You’ll also assist with monitoring a wide variety of security systems for multiple properties, responding as necessary.
Previous experience in protective security operations is required. A background in military, law enforcement or government agencies is also valuable. You must also have the ability to clear a rigorous background investigation, history screening and physical fitness assessment.
You should have strong analytical thinking skills and have the ability to quickly assess situations. Successfully working both independently and as part of a team is a valuable attribute. You should be fluent in English and be able to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
