The Opportunity
This leadership position is a new one for the company. It is a great opportunity for someone who has designed and run an executive protection program to take their career to the next level. You will be responsible for leading a team chartered with overall safety for the principals of the organization. This is a hands-on role that will find you managing daily operations in addition to structuring the overarching protection program to include risk assessment, contingency planning, and policy development. You will travel in the US and internationally, requiring advance planning and threat management. A trusted advisor and confidant, you will be the collaborator who top management turn to ensure their safety.
The Person
The dynamic yet confidential nature of this role requires a security professional who can discreetly and effectively direct and influence protection efforts. You must be skilled at analyzing and assessing both future and situational risk, and your demeanor will be one that engenders trust. Strong strategy planning experience together with access to both law enforcement and government agencies will support your ability to stay current with best practices and emerging threats. It will also be critical to have cultural sensitivity and awareness as you travel globally, work with a diverse team and head the organization’s protection initiatives. The hands-on, very personal nature of the role requires skill sets including emergency responder training, defensive driving and the ability to carry a concealed weapon.
