The Opportunity
This newly expanded role has responsibility for management of all non-cyber security services across the enterprise. You will manage a team that includes both direct-hire and vendor provided security professionals. Working across all corporate divisions and facilities, you will forge strong relationships and influence an integrated approach to security.
Risk management and intelligence assessment are key elements of the role. Executive and senior management will rely on you to track potential threats on an ongoing and evolving basis.
Equally important, this position also has responsibility for the development of a leading-edge executive protection program. The protection of senior executives and their families, at their residences, on corporate premises and while on travel, will be a large part of your portfolio. This component of your portfolio will include strategic advance planning for large events.
Relationship-building with external law enforcement, government agencies and intelligence sources is an essential part of the position.
The Person
Someone who has a wide range of experience in corporate security would be a great fit for this position. You should be a detail-oriented practitioner who excels at communicating across all levels of an organization.
The executive protection component requires an individual who can quickly and accurately read a situation and de-escalate any conflicts should they arise. You should be proficient in the use of firearms and have experience in more protection skills such as security driving and first aid/CPR/AED certification.
Intelligence gathering, together with the analytical and critical thinking skills that enable you to plan and act accordingly, will be highly valued.
There is a preference for US citizenship, and you should have the ability to travel globally without restrictions.
This position can be remotely located. But the need for extensive travel requires residency in a location with quick access to an international airport.
