This role is responsible for the development and oversight of operational information systems security implementation policies and guidelines. You will be the primary IS interface for both customers and accrediting authorities and manage a team of ISSOs as they follow established processes. You will also ensure adherence to a rigorous Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance program. Additionally, all IA certifications will be maintained as you oversee operational security posture. You will also oversee periodic testing, inspections, and reviews to ensure any system vulnerabilities are identified and addressed. An effective IS security education and awareness program also falls into the scope of this position. You will also maintain an action plan for compliance with DoD DFARS (in accordance with 252.204-7012) and CMMC.

In addition to a broad IS background, you must also have strong interpersonal skills to deal with customers, DoD, military, and civilian personnel on a face-to-face basis, likely gained through experience working at a regulated government contractor. The abilities to focus, comprehend complex details and exercise initiative are strong competencies for the role. Strong technical skills should include CISSP certification. The sensitive nature of this position requires a U.S. citizen who holds a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
